CFD Plastic Hinges
(24)The hinge is made up of two parts of different size (one is large and the other is narrow) to use on structures with thin doors. High impact strength special technopolymer in black color with matte finish surfaces. Resistant to solvents, oil, greases and other chemical agents. AISI 303 stainless steel rotation pin.

Fitting by means of:
- 2 pairs of nickel-plated brass bushings with tapped hole.
- 1 pair of nickel-plated brass studs in the large part and 1 pair of nickel-plated steel studs in the narrow part
- 1 pair of nickel-plated brass bushings with tapped hole in the large part and 1 pair of nickel-plated steel studs in the narrow part.
- 1 pair of nickel-plated brass studs in the large part and 1 pair of nickel-plated steel bushings with tapped hole in the narrow part.
- 1 pair of through holes for cylindrical head screws in the large part and 1 pair of nickel-plated brass bushings with tapped hole in the narrow part.
- 1 pair of through holes for cylindrical head screws in the large part and 1 pair of nickel-plated steel studs in the narrow part.
- Rotation angle: max 215°, between 0° and -105° and between 0° and 110° (90° = where the two interconnected surfaces are on the same plane).
- Do not exceed the rotation angle limit so as not to prejudice the hinges mechanical performance (see drawing). ELESA Original Design.
CFE Plastic Hinges

Rotation angle: max 190°, between 0° and -70° and between 0° and 120° (0° = where the two interconnected surfaces are on the same plane). Do not exceed the rotation angle limit so as not to prejudice the hinges mechanical performance (see drawing).
This model has been conceived for doors with gaskets.

(12)Test Data
The mechanical properties of a molded plastic part may differ considerably according to the particular shape of the part and the manufacturing process used. Accordingly, we decided that it would be important for designers to know the operational stresses that a given part could resist.
Torque resistance tests were performed using a dynamometer text fixture that applied an increasing amount of torque to the part being tested. The torque value (C) is expressed in foot pounds (ft. lbs).
Shocking resistance tests were performed by dropping a calibrated weight from increasing heights (4 inches) onto the part being tested. The impact value (L) is expressed in foot pounds. (ft. lbs).

CFB Plastic Hinges
Our CFB plastic hinges have a duroplast fold-down handle and is an ELESA Original Design.
Material - Glass-fibre reinforced polyamide based (PA) technopolymer, black colour, matte finish.
Rotating pin - AISI 303 stainless steel.
Standard execution - Pass-through holes for M6 countersunk head screws and referring pins for an accurate positioning of the hinge body.
Assembly instructions - Remove the rotation pin and fit the two separated bodies of the hinge on the door and on the frame. Assembly the two elements together matching the right alignment of the hinge and insert the rotation pin.

Monroe Living Hinge (plastic piano hinge) are one-piece, molded, pinless hinges. These Living Hinges are manufactured for silent, maintennance free operation and never need lubrication.
Monroe Living Hinges (plastic piano hinges) do not wear, fatigue, or deteriorate in the harshest conditions, including moist and corrosive applications. UV resistance is built in to our Living Hinge products providing protection from brutal effects of the sun. CFR Adjustable Hinges
The hinge is completely made by special technopolymer, without using any metal parts. It is particularly suitable for applications where hygienic, climatic and environmental factors need the absolute absence of materials subject to corrosion. By replacing the technopolymer rotation pin with a metal one with an adequate form, the hinge is suitable to control a safety micro-switch mounted on the structure where the hinge is situated.
