(13)Standard Expansion Inserts are easy to install, two-piece, brass, expandable inserts for use in blind holes in thermo- set or thermoplastic materials. When the captivated spreader plate is depressed, the knurled portion of the insert expands, permanently anchoring the insert in the hole.
