These magnetic fastening latches offer a significant amount of flexibility in applications compared to mechanically actuated latches. They are free from moving parts, making them particularly suitable for lightweight sheet metal doors and enclosures. They can tolerate misalignment and can also be used with non-metallic enclosures by incorporating a steel strike plate.
