These hitch lynch, also called linchpins, pins help keep non-fixed components from slipping off of an axle while in motion and can be used as a fastner as well. We have self locking hitch pins with clips for easy linkage and are used for making implements secure on three-point hitches. These types of pins require at least one predrilled hole. Like other pins, these devices are meant to resist shear forces, which make them different than bolts and screws. are made from low carbon steel, and plated zinc with a yellow chromate dip for added corrosion protection. Steel Lanyards or Nylon Lanyards may be added to help prevent Lynch Pin loss.
