Swing Clamping - Automates Simple Fixtures. These are the original automatic swing clamps which have been used successfully throughout the world. The unique sequential movement of the clamping arm provides 90 degrees rotation over the work piece with a following downward clamping stroke, variable in force to approximately 5,000 pounds. When used with a Wilton booster or pump, a touch of a valve initiates the clamping. Release the valve and the clamping arm swings clear of the work piece to the rest position, leaving the work area completely free for loading and unloading. Clockwise movement of the clamping arm is standard, but counter-clockwise direction is possible by means of a simple adjustment.
