Ball Plungers are used for securing an item in a closed position. To be opened, they require a certain force to be applied. The ball sits in a notch in an adjoining part, until sufficient pressure is applied to enable the ball to retract into the housing, thereby allowing the part being pushed to move freely from it's closed position. TThere are numerous types available with varying metric or inch sizes, different materials like stainless steel, steel, and thermoplastic, and our ball plungers come with optional locking elements to fit your exact need.
