We have steel body ball plungers and stainless steel ball plungers. Our ball plungers include stainless steel or delrin nose balls along with a locking and no locking element. If you have any questions, please contact one of our sales engineers. Ball Plungers are used for securing an item in a closed position. To be opened, they require a certain force to be applied. The ball sits into a notch in an adjoining part, until such time as sufficient pressure is applied to enable the ball to retract into the housing, thereby allowing the part being pushed to move freely from it's closed position.
